Add Images to Your Landing Page

Images are project files. The markup points at a name, not a hardcoded CDN URL, so the project stays movable.

[site]
title: Product Demo

[Home -> /]

/// hero
h1: See it in action
img: alt: Product screenshot <- hero.png

<- hero.png means “this filename in the project’s Files tab.” The name has to match exactly.

Web app

  1. Open the project → Files
  2. Upload the image
  3. Reference it with img: <- filename

CLI

micropage files list
micropage files url hero.png

Notes

  • Files are scoped to the project
  • Delete a referenced file and the next build ships a broken image
  • What the browser can display is what you can use
  • You can set alt: and, where supported, width/height tokens so you are not running an asset pipeline
